Shri APJMJ Sheik Saleem, Grand Nephew of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam & Co-Founder of House of Kalam, and Dr. Anand Megalingam, CEO & Founder of Space Zone India, met with Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Chairman DRDO & Secretary Department of Defence R&D, and Mr. Amit Sharma, Senior Scientist in New Delhi. 

Discussions focused on upcoming mission projects related to Space and Technology by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation.

Discussions centered around upcoming projects of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation in the realm of Space and Technology.

In a proud moment, the family members of the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, including his nephew APJM Jainulabudeen, niece APJM Nazima Maraikayar, and grandnephews APJMJ Sheik Dawood and APJMJ Sheik Saleem, along with other relatives, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister M. K. Stalin for his support in installing a memorial plaque at Chennai Anna University campus in memory of the late leader on his 90th birth anniversary.

Today, the Tamil Nadu Coastal Security Group, in collaboration with the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation @ House of Kalam, joined hands for a noble cause. They organized a grand event in Olakkuda village, Rameshwaram, where 10,000 saplings were planted. Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Mittal, engaged with local fishermen and distributed Thirukkural books to children. Additionally, the Coastal Security Group honored senior officials with mementos and gold medals for their exceptional service.

Today, a celebration was held in the residence (Rameswaram) of Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to mark the 75th Independence Day. District Chief of Bhartiya Janata Party, Mr. K. Muralitharan, graced the occasion and distributed sweets. 

Dr. Kalam's family members, Mr. APJM. Jainulabudeen, Dr. APJM. Nazeema Maraikayar, Mr. APJMJ. Sheik Dawood, Mr. APJMJ. Sheik Saleem, along with friends, dignitaries, and the public attended the event.

A special celebration titled "Nalam Arakkattalai" was held in Kottamedu near Kamuthi, commemorating the 6th anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The event was graced by special guests including Mr. APJMJ. Sheik Saleem, Grand Nephew of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Co-Founder of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, who distributed sweets. 

Among the dignitaries present were Mr. C. Velmayil Murugan, Head of Narayanapuram Village Panchayat, and Dr. I. Parithi, President of Nalam Arakkattalai. The event also saw the presence of Ms. P. Tamil Selvi, Mr. Karathey Palanisamy, Ms. A. Vijayalakshmi, Mr. Rameswari, Ilango, Aiyangalai, social activists, and the public. Furthermore, Corona relief funds were provided to the frontline workers who participated in the event alongside Kamuthi.

Today, AKIF Co-Founder from House of Kalam, Mr. APJMJ Sheik Saleem, met with Dr. G.S. Sameeran IAS, the District Collector and District Magistrate of Coimbatore, and Mr. S. Senthil Valavan, Airport Director of Coimbatore International Airport, to discuss green cover initiatives as part of the APJ Abdul Kalam Social Forest tree plantation project, in collaboration with the Airport Authority of India Southern Region.

Today, on July 31, 2021, we were honored to welcome His Excellency Dr. Imam Umer Ahamed Ilyasi Sahib at the Dr. Kalam National Memorial in Peikarumbu, Rameswaram, and at the House of Kalam in Rameswaram.

Dr. Imam Umer Ahamed Ilyasi Sahib serves as the Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization, representing half a million Imams of India and guiding 210 million Indian Muslims. He was warmly received by the family members of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam:

Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's Sixth Anniversary News Release: On the occasion of Dr. Kalam's Sixth Remembrance Day, tributes were paid by family members, friends, and dignitaries at the National Memorial in Rameswaram. The event proceeded at Varthini Mahal, Rameswaram, where memories of Dr. Kalam were shared passionately. Relief items, including groceries, were provided to 100 fishermen families from Rameshwaram Island. Mr. APJMJ. Sheikh Dawood presided over the event, while Mr. APJMJ. Sheikh Saleem concluded with a vote of thanks.

The Sixth Remembrance Day of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was observed by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, Rameswaram. Hon'ble Governor of Telangana and Lt Governor of Pondicherry, Smt. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, presided over the event and launched the website http://kalamdigitalschool.org, contributing to global educational growth. Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai and special guest Mr. Sasikumar Gendham addressed the gathering on "Power India 2020." Dr. APJM Nazeema Maraikkair, Mr. APJMJ Sheik Saleem, and Mrs. Nilofar Kurshid also shared their thoughts during the event held via video conferencing.

Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, a poet, journalist, and Member of Parliament representing the Thoothukkudi constituency in the Lok Sabha, along with Smt. Periasamy Geetha Jeevan, Minister for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment of Tamil Nadu. 

The meeting was regarding the 6th Year Remembrance Day of our People's President, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, and the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Social Forest Tree Plantation Project in Tuticorin District. Both dignitaries graciously accepted our invitation for the tree plantation project in Tuticorin District.
